A North Myrtle Beach family vacation would be far from complete without a relaxing evening enjoying one of the free summer concerts held throughout the summer. After a long day soaking up sun or seeing the sights, grab your beach chair and come out to enjoy the sounds of the beach.
The annual Music on Main concert series features shows at either the Main Street stage, located on 202 Main St. in North Myrtle Beach, or the Horseshoe stage at 11 S. Ocean Blvd, at the intersection of Main St. and Ocean Blvd. All concerts are held Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and are free for the whole family. Enjoy a range of musical styles including beach music, blues, rock, Top 40 and more. Music on Main kicks off May 15th at the Horseshoe with beach music performer Marsha Morgan.
North Myrtle Beach’s free concert series has expanded this year to include the Sounds of Summer – a series of monthly concerts at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex located at 150 Citizens Circle, Little River, SC. This series will take place at the park’s new amphitheater once a month on Friday evenings from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Bring your chair or blanket to the meadow, kick back and enjoy! The complex is also home to dog parks, baseball fields, batting cages, soccer and lacrosse fields, walking trails, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and more! The first Sounds of Summer act will be southern rockers Jive Mother Mary on Friday, May 16th.

Both stages of the Music on Main series are a very short drive from both Bay Watch Resort and Atlantic Breeze Ocean Resort.
