Mayfest on Main® is an exciting day of family fun in North Myrtle Beach. Locals and visitors alike come out to take advantage of the warm, beautiful weather and long sunny days. The fun happens on Saturday, May 10th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Main Street will be closed to car traffic during the day, but there will be shuttles running from several area churches so getting to Mayfest will be a breeze!

Expect to see a variety of food, beverage, and arts and craft vendors throughout the area. Usual cuisine offerings at Mayfest include fried chicken, seafood, and other local or southern themed items. There will also be a free concert where Main Street meets Ocean Boulevard, more commonly known as “The Horseshoe”, with artists from several different genres, including shag music, surf music, alternative rock, country and more. Participating musical acts include The Legends of Surf Music, Surf City Allstars, Blue Monday and Ross Coppley as well as local school choirs and band students. Feel free to bring a chair and sit back and enjoy the show.

General admission to this event is completely free. More information regarding parking and shuttles to the event can be found at the City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation website.
