Castano’s will be offering a three course meal. The first course is arugula and radicchio salad with fire-roasted tomatoes, Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts and golden figs served with fig balsamic vinaigrette. Next up is a surf and turf for two with potatoes dauphinoise and grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. Finally, share a heart-shaped mixed berry and Grand Marnier shortcake. For an additional cost, guests can enjoy Valentine martinis and chocolate cups filled with Bailey’s Irish Cream, Grand Marnier or Godiva liqueur.

Grand Central Station Restaurant is hosting a special dinner from 5:00-9:00 PM on the days before and after Valentine’s Day. Menu options include low country broiled Lobster Tail Thermidor (yum!) and braised, stuffed rack of lamb with pomegranate sauce. The pasta buffet, while all are invited, is suited toward folks who will be running the marathon that need to load up on carbs the night before. It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day dinner for couples who will be running together on Saturday. And unlike many of the romantic dinners in the area, kids are welcome at the Grand Central Station pasta buffet, and eat for just $9.95!
