Christmas at Pirates Voyage takes guests on a voyage with Captain Scrooge and the mystical Spirit of Christmas as they travel to the past, through the present, and into the future of Buccaneer Bay. Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals
For folks who love to get into the holiday spirit without being confined to their seats, The Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals is a unique event comprised of a multitude of shopping and entertainment options. The cornerstone of the event is a Victorian Holiday Marketplace held in the giant exhibition hall of the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Here, against a Victorian Holiday background, explore amidst the hundreds of period-dressed vendors selling everything from jewelry, gifts, toys, arts and crafts, gourmet foods, holiday décor and much more. Nights of a Thousand Candles
Each weekend in December, leading up to the Christmas holiday, head to Brookgreen Gardens in Murrell’s Inlet after dark and enjoy the Nights of a Thousand Candles. Stroll amid the soft glow of more than 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights from 3:00-10:00 PM. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of hand bells ringing, carolers singing, and celebrate the season with family and friends. This annual event has become a holiday tradition when the gardens become a wonderland of lights and candles and outstanding entertainment. Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
Every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving Little River Inlet hosts the annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta Boat Parade. Bring the whole family and watch extravagantly decorated boats displaying the holiday spirit as they pass by several viewing between Little River Inlet and arriving at Dock Holidays Marina. This event is complete free to attend, but organizers encourage viewers to donate a new, unwrapped toy to support families in need during the holiday season.
